The following projects are conceptually related to Scratchpads or are associated through partnership and funding.

	eMonocot is linking together monocot taxonomists by providing support and tools to enable communities to manage their taxonomic data online. Many communities use Scratchpads as a tool for submitting their content to the eMonocot portal.
	Encyclopedia of Life aims to increase awareness and understanding of the living world by creating a webpage about every species on earth. It gathers, generates, and shares knowledge in an open, freely accessible and trusted digital resource.
	Pensoft Publishers specialize in academic and professional book and journal publishing, mostly in the field of biodiversity science and natural history. Starting in 1994, Pensoft has become one of the leading academic publishers based in Eastern Europe with more than 600 books and e-books published so far.
	The Biodiversity Heritage Library (BHL) is a consortium of leading natural history museum and botanical garden libraries that cooperate to digitize and make accessible the legacy literature of biodiversity held in their collections for open and responsible use as a part of a global “biodiversity commons".
	Vizzuality is dedicated to design & development of Rich Internet Applications for biodiversity information. They are experts on user Interaction and visualization of large taxonomic, geospatial and temporal datasets. They work with their clients to deliver engaging data visualizations and advanced geographic information systems.
	BioVeL is a virtual e-laboratory that supports research on biodiversity issues using large amounts of data from cross-disciplinary sources. BioVeL offers the possibility to use computerised "workflows" (series of data analysis steps) to process data, from your own research and/or existing sources
